Default L33/T56 -> S13 Chassis

So i'm getting ready to do an L33 5.3 and T56 into a 91 240SX, boost later on down the line, but for now I need to get it in and running.

Bought the engine and tranny seperate, got a good deal on the engine, but it didnt come with a wiring harness. My question is which harness can i use for my swap? Does it have to be an L33 harness or will an LS1 harness work. I have to send it to Sikky for them modify it, I just want to start with the correct stuff in order to avoid headaches. As long as an lsx harness will work I'm not gonna waste time searching for an L33 since it seems like they are a little bit harder to come by.

Thanks!

Any LS harness can be made to work. Just match GEN3/GEN4, red/blue or red/green ECM, and DBC/DBW to whatever you have. Look for a truck harness, they're cheaper.

Any idea what year it came from?

The Wiki lists the L33 as Gen 3 only.

I believe the L33 only came in 2005 4x4 HD silverado's.

You should find a PCM and harness for the year engine you have. You will also need TAC and pedal for an '05 engine if thats what you have. If you plan to boost later you will need to change injector connectors as I was unable to find high flowing injectors or adaptors. I had to cut and add connectors when I switched to my 80# injectors. The truck intake probably won't fit under the hood of your car, so finding a car intake, injectors, wiring and throttle body(f-body) would possibly be the easies route for you.

You could also get a new custom harness from wiring specialist, techrods, PSI harness.....none require you to send any harness core. It's not that expensive and great quality.
