Also, what kind of wheels are those? I really like them and want to run something similar on my car.

The alternator bracket came with an accessory kit I bought off ebay for the motor. The wheels are american racing I believe. They came with the car when I bought it a little over a year ago. I found my beauty on ebay lol, but was far better than what I had seen locally so I bought this for myself when I turned 30 last year. I borrowed my brothers truck and went to south texas to pick it up. Was a great deal. I maybe willing to part with the wheels. They are 17".

Here are some updated pics of the motor and the harness.

Good deal! I'll look into that eBay bracket..

What are the specs on the wheels and tires. I might be interested, but the rears look like they might be too wide?..

I'm finally getting back to working on my swap. I ordered a set of 1-3/4" long tube headers from brphotrods. I got my fuel lines and fittings together. I still need to make the line from the feed side of the regulator to the rail. Still have to order the clutch conversion kit and dakota vhx gauges and flashed ecm. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

To my surprise I my headers came in. I was told that it would be a few weeks before they were ready. They look good and can't wait to get them on the car. Have to get the 02 sensor bungs welded, but I'm sure it's going to look good. I am very pleased with them. All I have left is the Hydraulic clutch conversion kit, ECM and dakota digital Vhx gauges and I should be in business. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am pleased to say that I have fired up my motor this weekend. I only let it run for about a minute or so but the oil pressure was good and it idled as it should. I am still waiting on the hydraulic clutch conversion kit. It was very gratifying to be able to just turn it over and it fire right up. I was very worried about having to adjust/chase down an issue thinking it wouldn't start but to my surprise it started like it had been in the car for a while.

Thanks. I am very pleased on how easy it was to start. I must say I am impressed with the Harness and all of the componenets I have bought from PSI Conversions. The Vhx gauges are a perfect addition to the car as well. I am going to be installing the Mcleod hydraulic clutch conversion kit and aluminum radiator this week. So hopefully I will be able to drive it around the block next week. (Keeping my fingers crossed). I've been pretty busy at work so i haven't had alot of time to work on it. Definitely feels good doing all of the work myself as well.

I got the Mcleod Clutch master cylinder conversion kit installed, but I am trying to find the fitting to go from the master to connect it to the slave cylinder. I think the thread is 3/8X24. I have ordered an adapter to go from 4an to 3/8x24. When I get the right fitting I should be able to fill the master cylinder and bleed the slave. The only thing I have left is to order another electric fan and mount the two fans and wire them up to the relay/computer. Almost there

Hey,

Just wondering how you like the McLeod setup, I'm thinking about purchasing it for my car.

Thanks
Tom

So after countless miles on the swap I got it dyno'd and was putting out 326hp/336tq to the wheels with a stock ls1 with longtube headers. I recently put a set of 243 heads, ls6 intake, fast 36lb injectors and a comp cams 233/239 cam. I definitely love the sound and the car pulls sooo much harder now. My car made 395hp/370tq after i got it tuned. I also put in the vintage air ac system in the car and love it as well. I plan on putting the cruise control module on for the vhx gauges. I am loving the car and the ls1/6spd in it.

I've put atleast 7-10000 miles on the car since the swap and haven't had any major issues. I just ran a coyote 5.0 mustang at the drag strip over the weekend and it was the first time i've ran it since doing the top end work. I beat the mustang by atleast 2 cars or more. I love this setup. I ran an 8.42 on an 1/8 mile dragstrip.
