the rear end is a factory Dana 44 that they used for the 92 firehawks. Word has it they only made about 200 of them. I got it from a friend who had it behind his 650rwhp nitrous 383 and it lived a happy life. I refreshed it before installing it in my car.
The ZL1 blower comment may just be my personal ignorance. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere, but I guess you should always take the internet with a grain of salt lol

My spohn crossmember was removed from the car, and Tom had to custom make a new crossmember or else the exhaust never would have fit. Its hard to explain how he made the crossmember. Hell, it was hard to even SEE the crossmember...it was tucked right up in the trans tunnel.
The headers had v band clamps installed on them, and the lowest part of the collector barely hangs below the frame of the car...this really surprised me.
Off the headers he used a pair of 3"-3.5" oval adapters, into a 3.5" oval Y and mated it to the over the axle pipe which was left round.
As you can see there are a ton of measurements, tiny pieces, tack welds etc he has a ton of time into this exhaust, and a huge chunk into the crossmember....it all fits TIGHT.
Exhaust is done. Factory heat shields had to be removed/modified or replaced.
Here you can see the crossmember. Its tight! He's going to heat wrap the brake and fuel lines too.

I like it! I've been wanting to do either an LS swapped 92 GTA or a 92 Z28 (there's something I like about that rear spoiler, lol). Keep up the good work! I'd like to do an L99 swap though, just so I could make badges that say "L98+1," lol.

Looks like a top notch shop and fabricator. I would say you made a VERY wise chose taking it to him for the work. Seems to take pride in it. I am really enjoying this thread. Please tell me you will be able to keep the stock hood!!!
BTW I know this is costing you a pretty penny. ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!
