putting a/c back in 5.3 wrangler. need help with parts list!! well im off to a bad start. i have a 2005 lj that i swaped a 5.3 into about a year ago. i need a/c back in that thing. i ordered a top mount compressor mount and thats as far as i got.
i know i need to order a new condenser because the one in my jeep has these weird peanut style fittings which i can not adapt to new hoses. plus the original must be dirty as heck because i didnt cap the ends.
i capped off the evaporator ends in the jeep. im keeping that, being they are just spring lock fittings.
id like to use a sanden 508 compressor.
heres where im confused...the jeep had an orifice tube and accumulator with 2 pressure switches.
being im starting with just the stock evaporator, can i buy a universal condenser, drier reciever and an expansion valve. i cant seem to find a universal orrfice tube or accumulator on any aftermarket ac websites.
