Any volunteers for a 66 Riviera?
Hello forum members. I know this is my first posting but I've been a loooong time lurker on this site.
Here's my situation at the moment. I've had my riv for almost 3 years now. It's the last model year of the nailhead. While that's cool and everything I want some modern engineering under the hood. The 5.3 to be exact. Not only because it's a little gem of an engine but also because that engine came in some of the older buick raineers.
The PROBLEM is that I live in nyc and have no place or tools to do anything. On top of that the car is an x-frame with rear steering box. I honestly don't care if we had to turn the headers upside down and have the exhaust stick out the hood. (Would be interesting). So I was wondering if any of you ambitious people of the forum would like to take on the job with any assistance I can give you. I love getting my hands dirty and learning.
I've talked to denmah about it but he has his hands full and I completely understand. While I'm DEFINITELY not rich I can certainly give someone some money . Don't get too excited thinking I'm really rich or something because I'm not lol. I know this isn't the best deal or even a god deal to many but for those that like to turn wrenches and Frankenstein cars for the hell of it this is a great opportunity to try something a little more difficult and interesting.
Thanks for your time.

You're a little too far away from me, but it looks like a nice car. What part of NYC are you in? I know there was a guy in Brooklyn that was doing swaps, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was, or what forum he was on. I think he was around the Flatlands area though.

Thanks for the offer! I'm in Manhattan so Brooklyn isn't far at all.
