Default Steam port help

Im just finishn a swap and down to hookin up the steam line from throttle body. Can i just hook it in to my heater hose or where shld i put it

You can tie it into the upper radiator hose. I opted to drill and thread the top of the water pump and used a barb fitting to tie it in on my swap.

Sure you can tap the water pump. I don't like doing that, because if the pump went bad on a road trip, it would be a hassle. The factory Trailblazer SS had the steam vent piped into the return heater hose, so that is viable. There are several ways, I put mine to a surge tank plumbed in the return heater hose.

Check out Jags that Run (JTR). They have a fitting specifically for the steam vent hose that you connect to the upper radiator hose. You can see the fitting in upper radiator hose in the attached picture.

Im tring to take it for a drive tomorrow is it ok to just put a t in the heater hose an plumb it in there or do i need to put it in the upper hose

I used this, got a nipple and 3/8 thread nipple with a 1/4 tip and ran the lie to it in middle of the upper radiator hose

Lots of guys plumb those into the heater hose and run with zero problems. Other guys block them off altogether and run with zero problems. They aren't really needed as long as you get all the air out of the top of the block during the initial fill.

Do whichever way is easier to do
