Do I have a complete 4l80e (am I missing anything)?
Finally got around to move the trans around and remove the back portion that was wrapped and I wanted to make sure I have everything for the trans before we get ready for install. First, it's a 2wd one right? I hope so.....lol And I am not missing anything correct? I need no more hickups to get this thing ready for install, Winter is coming quickly, need to get on it fast!

Dip stick tube I am still trying to search for the best solution.....I have it going in a Monte Carlo SS and I have the 1 inch set back plates. It came with no tube so I don't want to order a stock one if it won't fit.
Coolant lines I think I am going with stainless steel braided lines like my fuel lines.
Other than that, its good to go?

For the adapter to AN on the trans. I used Russell 640520 for -6 (or 640530 for -8)...
Be aware that the threads are NPSM and require a sealing washer. If you use a NPT (Pipe), it will work, but if you over tighten, you rise cracking the case. Use the correct adapter..! (does happen)

The NPSM's threaded body of the adapter is Straight vs Taper threaded body (NPT).
NPT = National Pipe Tapered
NPS = is a straight thread without the usual taper.
NPSM = threads are straight and meant for a mechanical joint, but are not expected to seal via the thread.

That part number will not work.
The 80s use an extra length of tube inside the case on the rear fitting. It dumps fluid from the cooler directly onto important internals (the planetary set, I think) and is one of the reasons why the 80 can take so much abuse. You need to the -6 version of the parts that john 67 listed above because they have the extra length built in to the 1 fitting already...as seen in the pic he attached.
