Post 1967 camaro and 1968 camaro swap problems

I am working on my first ls swap. And I have done alot of reserch, many saved form thanks to everyone with all the info. But I have ran in to a height problem I cant figure out. I have a 1967 rs 327 4 speed car and a 1968 plain 327 3 speed. I have a 2001 5.3. i have the 3 sets of mounts and all I am having oil pan and k member contact in both cars. Any ideas?I have two sets of hooker mounts stock location and sliding it forward, then a multi mount set and engery mounts for the tall and narrow towers.

I just installed a LQ4 into a 69 and had problems with the Holley oil pan hitting the frame. I ended up raising the engine 3/8 inch. I also moved it forward 1/2 inch because I was hitting the heater hoses where they came out of the firewall and I needed room for the trans dipstick. To raise the engine 3/8 inch, I just used the spare Hooker swap mount between the motor mount and the swap mount attached to the engine. The oil pan does not hit the frame but is still very close, maybe 1/8 clearance.

You cold also possibly use my method along with using the tall and narrow mount to get more height.

I had clearance issues on my 68 Camaro LS swap with an F Body pan, I ended up going with an Autokraft swap pan and it fit great! The F Body pan hit the drag link.
