Default 5.3 Twin Turbo 1963 Lincoln Continental

Won this car years ago for $10.
Pretty rust free. Low mile car. Paint is a 5 or 6.
Interior is a 8 or 9.
Gutted the engine bay.
Gonna shave the fire wall.
Hoping the truck pan fits with no to little modification. I got about 12" from the firewall to the steering link. Thanks for looking.

I am a big fan of those cars. That should put a little pep in the old land yacht. Cool build

I like it!Doing a similar transplant in my 61 thunderbird.Single turbo. The GTO oil pan works, but you may need to drop you center link for clearance.I had to reverse the mounting for the center link in my bird.I am doing a 5.3/4l80e,69mm single.I am currently out of toy funds and waiting to purchase my fuel pump and harness.I will be watching this thread!

Got the GTO pan in today. Think it will work. The way I measure it the truck balancer will be about 1.5" away from the sway bar

As long as the gasket isn't insanely smashed, it should be re-usable. There are two spots on the pan gasket that were riveted in my H3 pan. as for alignment, you should be able to drop in the corner bolts and it stay pretty well aligned for the rest. But when in doubt, buy a new one.. Better safe than sorry, know what I mean?
