Default Other than billet, is there a straight thermostat housing

That will work on the LS water pump? I don't want to spend $60ish on a machined one though, wondering if there is any other car that has a straight thermostat housing from the factory that will work?

Thanks

You can get a CSR straight neck for $44 on ebay. I think you have to use an SBC style thermostat with that one. That's probably the cheapest way out.

Search a bit. Someone found a neck from a 90's Caddy that fits.

I have one of those I'd sell cheap. Bought it for a buddy and he ended up getting a 45* one so it didn't get used.

I heard something about a V6 Ford Windstar housing but have not measured it yet. Got one sitting on my workbench. It's output is straight out the front.

Specter makes a swivel housing that fits the newer 2008+ water pumps... Or so the ebay ad said. Mine should arrive by friday. I'll post pics when it does. Already have a bad feeling it won't fit.
