Question Hooking up throttle cable from Ls1 to original 67 camaro

What's the easiest way to hook up a throttle cable to my 67 Camaro using my original gas pedal? Pics are always great!

It's been a few years, I used the 99 Camaro throttle cable with a gas pedal from a 70ish Nova with a 6 cyl. The Nova used a cable. Was a complete bolt in with no mods. Might try the conversions section.

Heres what I did...built a small bracket, used a Lokar LS1 cable, and modified the stock throttle arm on the firewall.

Unlike yours, his had mechanical carburetor linkage from the factory. His factory pedal setup is nothing like yours. The post with the pic's looks like the way to go.

On my Chevelle I used the Lokar cable. Sleeve runs to the firewall and I heated the pedal arm inside and twisted it to fit the cable. (flat part of pedal arm was parallel to the firewall, twisted it so that it's perpendicular)

Be sure to bend the arm front/back enough you get WOT but it bottoms out on the floor or something else so you don't stretch or break the cable.

I like what you did..it looks great but I don't have the clearance the way you did on the Nova on the 67 Camaro.

What type of gas pedal (from what kind of car) fits with the Lokar cable? I have a 67 Camaro. Anyone have any part numbers for the Lokar cable?
