First thing we did was the cage as the truck had nothing before. Below are the pics.

Starting the cage.

Dropped to weld the top

Below are ssome pics of the hotside and log manifold (1/2" flange) for the new setup. I wasn't easy to get a GT4788 to fit under the stock hood, but after some careful planning it did and clears everything by at least an 1.5" everwhere.

GT4788 in place

More pics and updates to come...

What did you do with your prior manifold setup. I am getting ready to start on the turbo setup in my 92 with a 5.3

I still have the headers, but not the crossover. The manifolds will have to have the v band you want welded on them. If you want them let me know shoot me a pm. Brad and I hand built them they are not the best but they do fit around the steering shaft in a s10 blazer facing forward. Thanks!

Update: A little more done on the project over the weekend. The Hot side and DP are completed and wrapped. WG dumps into the 5" DP. The turbo support is now finished. Also got the Alt mounted and correct belt installed. Also worked on the fuel barrier from the driver's compartment. Couple pics below.

Wastegate dump tube to DP.

Getting closer ... More updates to come.

I'm working on getting some more pics. Its up and running now. First weekend out he was getting lots of false knock, that fixed now. It still needs final tuning, but we are creeping up on it. Thinking an 8 psi launch and 15 psi there after at 16* and 11.0 AFR. Going to local street car race tonight, guess we will see how she does.

Pretty bad *** for sure. ALOOOOOOOT of work.

I am always afraid I'll forget how the car/truck would go back together after gutting it. It always seems to take 2 or 3 times longer than I am planning on.
