Well guys, this Wednesday/Thursday i am taking the truck to get some wires done, everything is done with so hopefully as soon as they finish the wiring i should start it up!

Had to replace steering gearbox, wasn't too hard. Tomorrow I take the truck to get wired up and hopefully start it tomorrow or Thursday.... man am i excited!

Does your trans have the external slave cylinder? If so, how did you get the trans to bolt up to the engine without the slave cylinder hitting the oil pan?

Yea it does, its on the passenger side, and it doesn't touch the oil pan, but i do have to take out the oil level sensor to replace the slave if i ever needed to

What oil pan did you use? I tried with a truck pan and an F-body pan, and neither one works. It hits on the bottom of the pan on the F-body and hits the little tab below the level sensor. You got any pics? Is your trans an original '91 Silverado trans?

Really? I'm using the 6.0 Pan and it has about an inch or 2 of clearance....and ill take pictures tomorrow....Yea its the original 5 speed.

So, last Saturday on the way to a car show i decided to do some roll races and fucked up my throwout bearing part #1377c and i just ordered a performance throwout from summit racing, hopefully it works great!

Screetching, pedal felt weird as hell, took the tranny out and it has play like a ****!
