The 6L90 trans fits in the tunnel AMAZINGLY. I am stunned at how well it fit. Its smaller then the kia trans ub some aspects which is insane due to the 16500# towing capacty of the trans. The Kia is like 7500# towing lol.

Mounts
Just to clarify, the first couple pics; the flat plate mounts are just mock-up right? In the last pic it looks like you gusseted or boxed the mounts...right? Please say yes.
Other than that I am glad to see you are making progress and that so far everything seems to fit in nicely. Keep it up. I am dying for the first burn out vid!

The top pics are of the top plate only. We measured everything and made 2 identical plates. Put them in place and tack welded them in. Checked the engine center, clearance, rotation, driveline drop angle, and yaw angle.
Once we nailed those i welded the tops in place. Then re-checked.
We then used cardboard to mock the support braces.
The front braces are perpendicular to the front cross member and rest directly into the member.
The rear one rests against the back of the member. Its welded all around the outside edge off the support on the rear of the x-member. It also is stepped on the top allowing it to be welded directly to the frame also.
Both are weded on both sides of the plate.
When i pull the motor again to put the pan on i am going to tie the 2 suppport plates together on the front slope.
I may also make a tie plate that goes from the top plate UP the frame side for added support.

As soon as i get a trans mount (rubber) i will make the rear bracket for the tranny. The Kia's stock cross member that was bolted to the trans/xfer case adapter coupling lands a few inches forward of the mount on the 6L90. A small plate and bracing on the cross member should put it right under the mount.
Right now its resting on a 4x4.

Thanks...
I am sure it will raise some questions. Especially when i open up the throttle.
I am going to run a throaty exhaust, most likely with a Borla muffler.
Not sure on true dual, probably not though. Probably Y pipe to muffler then single or dual out.
Was thinking about single out the driver side iin front of the rear tire. Would love to find a skirt kit that u can incorporate the tip into.
Depends on my clearance. Dont want any burned legs from kids in back seat.
