I've got them on my 71 nova. 1 7/8". With Dirty Dingo mounts they fit great. I originally used the sliders from DD and they modified 2 tubes and were awesome to work with. NICK is a great guy to deal with. They tuck up great. The only thing I did do for a better look is hit them with some 320 and red scotch brite to get a brushed look. I may get the 2" after we get it up and lined out for the next step.
G-body Ls swap headers! Thank you. Not enough options around. What mounts are these being designed with? I'm in for some pics 817ftw@gmail.com
bczee, I'm running ARH 1 7/8" f-body headers in my nova with carshopinc standard mount plates. I only have a couple minor gripes:
1) One of the passenger-side primaries contacts my inner tie rod end. I can't run a zerk fitting because of it. This likely wouldn't be a problem with 1 3/4" primaries.
2) The O2 bungs are on the inside of the collectors. While this appears like it might've worked now that I'm installing a T56, there was nowhere near enough room to install the sensors with the 4L80e.

Same as above, the Nova LS swap headers are currently on the "wanting" list

Here are pics of the 2" headers in the car using the hooker "stock location" adapter plates and short wide motor mounts....along with the amount of metal that came off of the trans...nothing that will compromise the structural strength of the trans...
this last picture sort of gives you an idea on ground clearance...thought the car is up on jack stands you can see where the collectors sit in comparison to the frame rails...this is in a convertible frame...

Fbody headers in an "LS Swap" Nova, they aren't made to fit, but if anyone is in NY(Long Island) we can build them here in-house.

As shown by a couple of us, the f-body swap headers work in an x-body. I called when I bought mine (2010/2011 timeframe), and was told over the phone that they fit my Nova. And they fit great, as they should considering the front subframes are the same. I'd just update the website to say they fit Novas, and apparently B-bodies, too. No need to put unneeded R&D time in.
For all of you reading, most of these orders go straight to Nick(owner of ARH).

Would like to know also.
Most commonly used for mounts are the adapter plates.
1" Setback plates (where there aren't many options for long tubes, mainly 98-02 fbody headers and those still require some work to fit)

And
Non setback plates, far as I know only BRP headers fit without mods.

Steve, The list you have posted would be better if it listed the mounts and adapters that were used and another other notes you guys could add to help others in the future. I bet it would help sell a few extra sets also. I know when I called to order, no one could tell me what mounts where used. It wasn't as big a deal, as I have the tools to do fab work. Most people want a direct bolt in system. Hope this helps. The rest is top notch.

You are 2 hours away, bring the car here to Long Island, we will build them.
If there is a demand, we can work on getting them in production.

Steve,
Are the Gen 2 full length or mid length headers? Looking for a set to install in my 81 Firebird with an LY6 and 4L80e. Looking at using 1" setback plates (haven't purchased yet) and a G-Force cross member.
Want to ensure clearance as the car is low and I've flattened the tubes on my Chevelle on speed bumps more times than I want to admit.
Thanks,
Ds
