Default LS1 wiring harness help needed

I have an LS1 in a project chevelle purchased without any wiring or ECM. The engine is from a 1998 Camaro. I have been told a computer with the 12200411 code will work along with a harness from a 99- 02. I'm still concerned about this one year only LS engine. Any insight will be appreciated. I did a search but couldn't get my question answered. I am having trouble finding an ECM for a 1998 and would prefer the update without a major problem.

2 options

Find a 98 harness + PCM and everything will mate up

Or use a 0411 PCM + 99-02 ls1 harness - if you choose this route all you have to do is change the coolant temp sensor on the driverside head to the 99-02 version since the 98's used a 3 wire...

And depending if you get a 01-02 engine harness they won't have the connectors for the EGR/AIR assembly since it was deleted starting in 01

But now would be the time to delete and cap off the EGR hole on the intake anyway..
