Thanks. Had a minor setback yesterday. Took it around the block and went into a parking lot and rubbed on the front pretty bad.

Ultimately I need to change the front offset by at least 1/2". Maybe 1". Being that is a $1000+ operation, I think I will be buying new front springs and or hooking up the hydraulics to get the front up high enough to clear.

Pretty bummed about it.

Yes. And they're maxed out on height. Think it's a spring issue. I went with DSE spec on wheels and they're too far out.

Is the car aligned properly? If it's not clearing now but it's not been aligned the camber adjustment may get you some clearance up by the fender. Just a thought.

Yea hasn't been aligned but I'd need a lot of camber to make it work. Getting s coupke new springs then I'll see how it likes an alignment and likes to drive.

Ready to take it more than just around my street!

There are some knock offs for about 1/3 the price. Not sure if they're as nice just letting you know.

Wow, your Camaro is awesome! Congrats on getting it on the road. So very clean with all the high-end stuff... nothing like my aging pile!

Some progress and some revelations I think.

Rear bumper installed.

Attachment 720566

Got the hood installed and cut it for the aerocatch hood latch installation with some help of friends.
Attachment 720567

No turning back now!
Attachment 720568

Attachment 720569

Got the grille installed also. Still have to get the headlight buckets trimmed, painted and installed to finish that up. Front end has some fitment issues but nothing I can do about it. All goes back to some of the fab work on the car.
Attachment 720570

Attachment 720571

Still working on getting the front bumper on, but that will be another day.
Attachment 720572

Attachment 720573

Got the ride height setup (tall) so I can drive around without rubbing fenders, so far so good on that front. Will work it back down after i get a few more things sorted. (Dont mind the rear bumper pointing down, didn't realize it needed to be adjusted at that time, I will get it sorted in the coming days. Got the horn working too. No pics of that as nothing to see, and video not uploaded. It's comically loud!
Attachment 720574

After getting this stuff together, I decided to take it around the block and hit up a straight wide section. Car saw 6-6500 and 9psi boost. I think it's fair to say, I will likely be dropping the spring in it and planning to start out a little slower. Walk before you can run situation. Car feels unruly at low speed. It hooked but just a little too violent for me to learn with. Hoping to get it more road legal and put some miles on it next weekend.

Getting the front end aligned will make a world of difference. Great work, fantastic build.

I'm sure it will but I'm already working to camber the front to get top of tires in to clear. More than likely going to be aligning it in my garage and taking it to a shop to see where it's at. Too hard to adjust it for the shop really. Changing camber requires pulling the wheels.

Yesterday was a big day as it's the first day the car has legitimately seen the street. And it was AWESOME!!!

Attachment 720532

Got about 20-30mi in. Got to see some throttle in 2-3 instead of a little in first. It's fast. Damn fast. Faster than anything I've had. And by a significant margin. Haze 345 drag radials at 50-60mph fast rolling into throttle.

I can't wait to get it tuned and turned up!!!

Nope not yet. Been driving it here and there, runs pretty well for can tune myself and just wastegate spring pressure. Been finishing out stuff like inside of car, glass, misc wiring.

Have about 300mi on the car now, all going well so far! (Knock on wood)
