sorry everyone I dropped off the grid for a while due to personal reasons, but the car has been worked on during that time and i have been hoarding the parts needed to finish the build. I am hopeful it will be out by the end of the summer!

No. It's not a fake thread. Before I quit social media September 2016, the owner of the Prius had run out of money to finish the car. He had a pro doing the chassis work. There was a lot of race car tech going into it, so it's no surprise to find out the money dried up pretty quick.

any idea, do you know if the vehicle is just sitting in the OP's garage awaiting new funds? Or sold to someone else to continue on?

I'm happy I could add something to the thread, but it's been nearly a year since I left FB. At that time, the car was still at the shop where it was being worked on. I never saw any mention of where, or what the name of the shop was. If I remember right, there was a comment from the OP that said something to the effect of, "The car is still sitting at the shop awaiting funds."
