It won't have the blue fittings though, you will need to buy those. And you don't need to mount it anywhere near the engine. Mount it anywhere after the fuel pump that is convenient.
Do you have the part number for the adapter fittings to go from the clip on to AN?

I've read bad things about those clip on fittings. There's a new style that screws on. Don't have time right now to research. Do some researching on those fittings.

They are only dangerous when not put on correctly. It's actually pretty difficult to put them on improperly (I have experimented, having heard the negative stories myself)

Unless the fuel rails are changed out for an aftermarket style, this style adapter is really the only option at the rails. On the filter/regulator, the end with the single port needs a push-in style short section of line with the properly flared end to connect the adapter to. There might be another push-in adapter that can be used, I don't know. On the other side, with two ports, the ends are already flared. To my knowledge, these adapters are the only option to connect these flared ends to AN line.

I need to purchase some myself and after some of the stories about the clip ons I'm thinking of buying these.

Be advised that that listing is for 8AN line. Make sure you mean to buy 8 instead of 6 if you intend to use those fittings

Thank you Dave Nick and Whizz!!!!

Not too bad for a guy that never once in his life pulled an engine or took one apart. I am very pleased and owe a lot of my success to this forums.

Got some more to do the interior and eventually repaint the whole car and rims. But for now, I'm driving it for a couple years before i do paint, tho! Lol

That's actually with the front down to tire touching wheel well and just enough height in the back to keep the tranny pan and exhaust from touching the ground. I do drive it a little higher than that on a couple roads by my house that are brand new, other than that normal height is a few inches higher overall.

Default Update

Car ran great, managed to break a U joint rompng around in it (brand new U joint at that).

redid the rearend to 3.73's and disc brakes. Also have tubular upper and lowers up front and will be picking up a ported LS2 intake (102mm) tomorrow to run with my 102mm TB and LS2 injectors.

I also have a spare LS1 on the engine stand from a donor car I picked up a few weeks ago, looking for a good shell of a C10 to put that in.

Also I am amazed at the 7000 view of this thread. i'd bet a good majority of people got help and the others think I am an idiot, lol.

hope all is well with those that help me, you know who you are!
