Update:

Got some parts in the mail. Got my GT45, 44mm wastegate, and all my piping. I also got some 3 bolt exhaust flanges but they were the wrong ones so I am waiting for those. Unfortunately for my car...it may be awhile before any more purchased parts as I just bought a house and all my money will be going to that.

Not any major updates anyway. I bought flanges, intercooler kit, and a blowoff valve today.

The car has been in storage since I am in the process of buying a house. In a month when I'm in my new house/garage I'll start to work on it again. That being said, I have all the things I'll need to have the turbo kit mocked up and built. Next big step is the tranny!

Got the intercooler, piping, some couplers & clamps and a blowoff valve. Too bad I still can't work on the car for another 3 weeks!

Decided to take a hit in power by switching to an ls1 intake...purely for hood clearance. That being said, I got the intake and an l92 water pump on the way. Going to put the engine on a stand and start working on it this weekend

Popped the heads off and was pleasantly surprised to see all the cylinders in really good shape. Can still see cross-hatching. Not bad for 200k engine!

Prepping and PBR. That kind of night

Got the block painted and landed on Gold for an accent color. Heads are being cleaned up and getting valve springs installed. Then I can start putting it all back together.

I plan on using a BP Automotive harness (having them rework my stock harness) But there are tons of other options for harnesses.

And I paid 100 bucks for the intake and it didn't come with any accessories. But I wasn't too worried about that because I am going to upgrade anyway.

No major progress. On a money freeze until after the holidays

Need to have the heads done then I can actually install it all permanently. As you can see, I am using an L92 water pump that will work with the LS1 intake and still use the rest of the truck accessories.

Got everything painted and mocked up!

Necessary evil I guess! Plus side is that I know my fiance is hooking me up with summit racing gift cards for Christmas and my birthday (two weeks after Christmas) so that will make up for it!
