Static Low 92 - I painted most of the cage out of the car. I tacked what I could in place while in the car, then pulled the cage out in 3 big pieces. After the cage was out, I welded everything I that I previously tacked in place. After that, I painted the entire cage besides the ends I still needed to weld once back in the car. Once it was back in the car and fully welded, then I masked off and painted the left over spots. The cage comes so close to the body in some places that I would not have been able to paint it while installed. So I figured why not do it while its all out?

David - Thanks for the good comments like normal! If only you could see what the car is looking like in its current state!

I just read 22 pages of an awesome build thread. I can't wait to see the final product on this thing. The lime green/black is a great combo, a buddy of mine had the same thing on a '93 Z28.
