Default What belt?

I have a LM7 from a Silverado -02. I want to use everything but a ac-pump (like in the picture) I guess that is a standard belt?

Maybe a stupid question: Im using LM7 power steering pump and have a front clip from a Malibu -79. Can i just make correct hoses and make it work? Someone said something about a cooler.

That's not the standard belt in that pic. Its had the idler moved to clear a car intake so the belt is probably different. Are you running yours that way?

The power steering doesn't need a cooler. You can take the fitting out of your old pump and put it in the LM7 pump and use the same hose.

truck / suv engines use separate belt & tensioner for the factory low mount a/c comp unit .

so the main belt is stock . . . unless you modify the pulley setup / routing .

By the way. I have the factory set up but wont use the ac but i understand that the ac has its own belt?
