Default Thanks guys!

Starting to sort the various harnesses. Removing mag-ride, EVAP, sunroof, electric steering, HID, and airbag wiring..as none of that is feasable. Adding rear window motor pigtails, various light connector shell swaps, and resizing the harnesses where necessary.

Default Thanks

Main reason is functionality. Integrated power door locks, bcm signals for door open/close for courtesy power, alarm, and of course window slight raise and lower when door opens and closes like 5th gen. Gen 1 always did suffer from having to compromise between window adjustment preventing squealing at speed and the door still opening. Over 40 years for gm to solve that problem! Lol

I must say I always loved the first gen Camaros' but never really cared for any of the original dash configurations and you solved that. Much better looking the the original.

I think *IF* I'm ever lucky enough to ever own a 69 Camaro, i Iwill have to copy your dash conversion. Can't wait to see your finished car.

Default Harnesses complete

Its amazing how well a 5th gen harness just fits a 1st gen. only need to move the power seat connections to the center of the harness. they were cut by the junkyard crew anyway. The back seat base/floor will be boxed up to accommodate the narrowed 5th gen fold down rear seat, so the harness crossing there is perfect. AllData was wrong on the pinout connector views for the front light harness to ecm connector. i'll post the differences for anyone ever troubleshooting a ZL1.

Will you be making the ABS functional?

The EBCM and speed sensor wiring is in place for global A security, buy haven't decided if we are going to try and make it work. much more involved than just pluming it up. it can be decided later.
