Default Holley Hi Ram in a 70-73 Camaro; fits?

Do some one knows if the Holley Hi Ram intake bolted in a 6.0L engine, will fit under the hood of a 70-73 Camaro? Some one is using it? If need more space, how tall should be the cowl induction type hood?

I doubt it. I just tool my engine out, so I cant give you a the clearance from the block to the bottom of the hood. If it doesn't fit, you can try Holley's mid rise manifold. Its a dual plane mani. I seen one dyne graph showing the difference in their single plane mani vs. dual plane. BIG difference. If its a street car I would prefer the dual plane IMHO

It won't work with a stock hood. My Malibu has a cowl hood and I had to trim the inner part of the circle where the carb air cleaner would have been. I trimmed the front portion of that to make mine fit. I
