Default VSS output signal/PSI harness

I'm trying to hookup my Dakota Digital speedo by using the VSS output pin on my PSI harness but there's a black wire in that location (pin 50) which is telling me that its used for a ground. I have a 2002, 411 PCM and all the wiring diagrams that I've looked at shows that pin 50 is the correct pin. I believe that the 98 PCM uses pin 55 and on this harness its not used. Does anybody out there have info to confirm which pin is correct?

C2 pin 50 is the correct vss output to the speedo. My guess is they just put in the wrong color wire. Hook it up and try it, the worst that will happen is the speedo won't work. Hooking the signal wire to a ground won't hurt anything, but that pin is not a ground anyway.
