Default LT1 to LS1 cold air intake???

I have a 97 Z/28 with a LS motor. After a visit to the dyno I was told that I need a different cold air intake.
The car has a home made CAI that's made out of an elbow, a 4" piece of aluminum and a K&N filter. Tuner said the elbow is not allowing enough air flow and robbing the car from power.

Can I make a LS1 cold air intake fit under my LT1 hood.
And if so, How do I make it fit?

Thanks,
Rob

Yes it can be done. Just do a google search to find some pictures. I did it with my 96z and I actually have a stock ls1 intake setup for sale/trade. I have a 00z now and just put a super victor intake so I want to switch to the lt1 radiator cover. Pm me if you need a ls1 setup.

Yes, get air into the engine! I just completed installing a Victor Jr on my 5.7 LS and it woke that engine up big time. I ran with a restricted air tract for 10 years without realizing how I was choking the engine. The difference is absolutely amazing.
