Default Another Friggin 5.3 turbo chevelle

Yet another 70 chevelle 5.3 turbo build.05 Tahoe engina 250000 miles and I'm going for it. Already bought 243 heads and ported the intake runners only.enjina on the bottom is the 402 Stroker lq4that I removed because of a broken headstud.

cleaned head bolt threads and deck surfaces. got some ls9 gaskets and arp head bolts and added new lifters old ones were crap design. had heads resurfaced/valvejob and removed the hump in theintake ports and polished them up a little.

new setup and that was the old setup. Using fbody pan eldercock mount plates moroso sbc solid mounts with frame notch/box. Howards cam 218/218 .604/.604 113 lsa lunati dual spring kit

Looks like a fun setup! If you plan to re wire the car, we have a direct fit wiring harness coming out early next year for those.

couldn't fit the aeromotive ls1 fuel rails because the bosses for the factory fuel rails were too tall so i shortened them...

More pics had to make a throttle bracket and I'm thinking I should relocate the wastegate

I don't wanna find out the hard way,that the wastegate is going to roast its neighbors....





Here's the plan for the fuel route. I'm not a hundred percent about it but I ran outta fittings...

Whats the deal with the injectors? I've been looking for a cheaper set of 80#ers.

Looks like its coming along real nice!

Had to work today but at least it was a nice car






Drive the car awhile and it vapor locks





Had to wrap the fuel line too close to the headers. Hope this works

Does that T/A have a Q-jet on it? They tend to fight a lot with fuel boiling, and hot start issues.

Is that an Aeromotive regulator? Is it a boost referenced one?

Yes it has a cacajet. My next fix will be the thick felpro carb gasket. Yes it's an aeromotive A1000 regulator two -10 one -6 ports boost referenced
