Turbo 5.3 Fox swap questions
I picked up my first fox body yesterday and am purchasing a complete 5.3 engine later today. The plan is a turbo 5.3 + TH400 setup which will hopefully go 9s and be street driven, aiming for 700whp.
The car currently has a 400lph in-tank pump. Can I use this to feed a bigger external inline pump or two? I'm considering running E85 and would like the ability to do this in the future, but if it's going to make the cost of the fuel system skyrocket, I can do without it. What setups are you turbo LS fox guys running?
Also, how hard is it to get the factory gauges to work? Do they make an adapter to run the factory speedo cable to a TH400?
Is anyone here running the On3 Performance turbo kit? I've heard good and bad things and people generally seem to say the fitment is crap.
The car I bought already has a Team Z tubular K-member (non-LS). Can this be customized to mount an LS motor, or do I need to purchase the entire LS swap K-member?
