Default Idle up for aircon

I'm currently doing a LS1 swap into a Toyota 4Runner and was wanting to retain aircon. Just wondering if the LS1 pcm needs a input for the idle up to be enabled or it automatically does it through the IAC when the revs drop due to the extra load? I'll be keeping all of the factory Toyota wiring, sensors and relays and noticed the LS1 pcm has a 12v input for aircon. If the pcm needs this signal to idle up I presume I can just splice a wire into the a/c switch in the dash?

Default

The PCM will stabilize the idle to normal idle speed without wiring the A/C into it, as long as its a stockish cam. If you already have a poor idle due to a large cam having the a/c kick on without the PCM knowing it may cause a stall.

The big thing is the fans, without hooking the A/C to the PCM it will no know to kick the electric fans on.

For the f-body PCM you need the a/c request hooked up and the pressure sensor.
