Default MKIV Supra LS swap, needing shorty header ideas

I'm getting to exhaust part of my build. I am wanting to spray the car for a little while so my turbo stuff wont work for that. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the exhaust/headers that provide the most clearance. Not really worked about performance, just clearance at this point.

Heres what I am working with.

Never used these but have seen them in tight setups:

You suck, LOL. I'm so jealous. Luv' that body styled Supra. The aero on those cars is sick. They seem to always be among the top performers @ the Texas mile.

As to headers, could look @ some of the Mazda (Miata/RX7) LS swap companies. Some of their stuff might work.

I am running Hooker Supercomp block hugger 2312 shorties on my SC300, and I have some room to spare. Another SC300 owner is also running another style of the block huggers from Hooker but not the 2312's. However, you can fit F-body long tubes with some modification to the runners at the engine flange.

I'm using corvette ls3 manifolds. They hold somewhat tight and exit in the center.

Lots of ideas for me to try out. Thanks for all the input guys. I'm sure I'll have to bring the hammer out on anything I do buy but hey it just makes it more worth while in the end.

I think the vette ls3's will clear your rails. I cut the tabs off the flanges and welded on vband's. I know this is a horrible pic on showing anything but its the best I could find that I had.

What is the distance from rail to rail? The datsun stuff fits into a fairly tight area since we also rocked I6s from the factory. I could compare to my 240Z and see if maybe that could be a direction to try.

well, good news. The Datsun rails are 25" rail to rail. Jags That Run (JTR) and Johns Custom Imports (JCI) both make shorty headers for the datsun. JTR has larger primaries (1.875 vs 1.75). I wont have any more measurements till my headers (JTR) get here, but I am more than glad to help if you need it when they do arrive. Just an idea. Good luck none the less.

That is good news. When do you expect to have the headers there with you? And of course I'll take any help I can. I already made too many enemies swapping this ole girl lol.

The Hooker cast manifolds will work very nicely for you I think.

Really? Most people just aren't happy unless they're bitchin' about something. Not to mention that it's none of their G'damned business, lol.

LOL, your right. I have been down the 2jz road. I have a black 93 built 2jz/th400 Supra too. This one was bought as a 2jz/6spd car. Got old fast breaking parts. Having to launch at 6 to 7k got old. Dont get me wrong the 2jz is an amazing engine. But it fails on alot of levels Supra owners just dont want to admit. Its expensive engine to maintain, parts are hard to find and when you do find them people think they are worth gold. The LS in any form is a better engine in MY book. But I'm sure many would disagree. But aside from youtube videos and 80k builds the Supra in 2jz form isnt for the local redneck like myself that like to beat the hell out of a car daily.

And a SBC V8 swapped TT one at that

Our Silver NZ 5spd ZX

The Wife being interviewed after racing a local airport event 2jz/th400 MKIV

Date night is always fun to say the least. Cant wait to race the wife once mine is finished being swapped.

SC300 I picked up...and plan to LS swap once I figure out the swap on my MKIV.

And the look I'm going for after its swapped...
