Default DBW vs DBC pros & cons

Planning a swap for my 72 K10 already aware of my major obsticles now time to get groggy and lay claim to an engine.

Opportunity may present itself in the way of a lien vehicle and while I had convinced myself I would tackle a dbw setup I think this one is DBC.

The only real big deal that isn't that big if a deal is cruise control is way easier on a dbw from what I gather. So what else? Price is going to make it tough to walk away from this one but if I am better off dbw then I can wait.

I prefer DBW and see no downsides. That being said I've also did a swap doing a cable TB.

It's really a push with either one. Just get the best enging you can find/afford and dont worry about it.

if you go DBW remember to match the tac, pedal and TB with the ECU OS or you will have problems.

Drive a DBW equipped car/truck at low speed over some bumps. If that drives ok to you, then carry on

GEN III engines can be had in either TB, GEN IV DBW only. Switching a GEN III to wire to cable or reverse isnt difficult. Piecing together the compatible parts is sometimes frustrating, esp if they dont come with the engine
