I used a Lokar throttle cable on a LS3 swap into a 1968 Chevelle. The truck cable would of been too short to route it under the pass side fuel rail cover.

Was really one of the easier parts of the swap...like I said, that's the cable from the 2002 Suburban 5.3 donor rig...

I think I had to bend the top rod on my throttle pedal to get WOT after I took this photo...

Thanks again for the input. I went to the junkyard and got a cable from a Tahoe for 8 bucks and it appears to work fine. I had to make a small cut for the cable to fit and slightly enlarge the hole on my firewall and that's it.

If that is an old style Russell fitting with the plastic insert, you should get rid of it ASAP before it burns your car to the ground.

Good catch Andrew...as you can see, I was still in the "mock up" stage at this point...

It was on there for my fuel pressure testing for my in tank pump install on my A-body wagon...

I was in a hurry and used it till I got my AN fitting from Swageloc...(like the one on the return below it)
