Default Lower profile thermostat housing?

This turbo kit came off a car with a truck water pump. I have truck accessories with an f body pump and spacers because that is the only pump that works with the ac relocation brackets. The turbo hits the thermostat housing. Is there a lower profile one that will bolt on? Or should I just modify the housing I have????

Thanks

Maybe look at a thermostat housing for a grand prix gxp (transverse mounted 5.3 with very tight clearances around the accessories.).

I looked at a pic on napas site for an 06. Don't think it will work. Plus if that is a gen 4, i don't think the thermostat will work with an f body pump.

I removed the the integral stat from the f body housing and cut it down as far as I could. Still wont work, let alone welding it back together again.

I have 3/4" spacers. The water pump pulley looks like it is about 1/4" forward of the other pulleys. So if I found or had some 1/4 spacers made, could I pull the pulley off the pump a 1/4" or more? That way I could gain a 1/2" and hopefully the fbody housing/stat will bolt on?

The center of compressor housing is almost exactly in line with the outboard top bolt of the stat housing. There is 1 1/2" from the compressor to the face of stat housing on pump.
