GM CORVERSION OIL PAN KIT

DUEL FAN FROM 1998 F-BODY

LOKAR LINKAGE

98% DONE

NEED HELP WITH SHIFT LINKAGE

my linkage seems it won't go threw all the gears or into park at all because of the manifolds i got. its really really and i in really close. I'm going to try to jimmy rig the linkage and try to make it work but if ANYONE HAS ANY suggestions that would be a life saver.

ps i already ordered BOTH LOKAR shift linkage gifts both lokar part number
#ACA-1800
AND
#ACA-1804

both seem to not work for me as i can't get the rods bent in the right shape without messing up and having to buy another (I've bought like 4)
and the other kit is for a aftermarket steering column which mine car and app WILL not work.

any ideas ???? at all?? please help i will be posting pictures of all

and any comments would be super and thanks for looking

Default &update

as you can see the stock shift linkage goes to the left slightly and moves up or down with gears. can i just the linkage or bend it to work or do they make something more specific that i can buy to make this problem go away

update :i went to the junkyard and got a few extra linkages out of some GM turbo 350 A-body cars and a truck just incase

You can probably mess with it to get it to work but a Kugel linkage is the way to go. It allows the leverage point to be moved on the trans to allow access to all gears easily.

Okay, thanks a ton!! ill give that a try it seems to have a little and i mean little room for adjustment on the linkage. but i will check out Kugel as well because i think that is the way i probably will have to go....unless i want to modify lol

i just looked online it seems i have the same looking kit from locker and i have yet to make it work...hmmmm
ill try a few more things and come back with a update!
