Wanting to move alternator on Jeep build
Hey guys I found this kit online www.not-a-sponsor.com the guy is somewhat local to me but I was wandering if there where any other options.
I really dont want it mounted low for water crossings and such.
Here is the Jeep I'm building motor for.

You are only limited by your imagination.
I'm guessing your link got deleted. But do a search and you will find multiple available options. Kwik performance has some good stuff to put the alt up high like a truck or off to the side like a vette. There are a number of home grown kits to do the same. Holley has a full line of accessories for the LS now. You need to pay attention to the belt spacing from the block (vette, F body, truck), but most of the kits cover all options.
There are also plenty of writeups that put the alt down where a vette mounts an AC compressor. Also up high off the passenger side of the motor. Personally I made my own brackets to mount a Denso alternator off the side of the driver side head. Denso alternators are a couple of inches smaller in diameter than the GM stuff.
We sort of need an alternator sticky like the oil pan one. Many, many options.
