Default AC oil

Doing a 5.3 truck engine conversion in a 56 chevy. I have a new vintage air sure fit ac system and I am using the factory truck compressor. Do I need to add any refrigerant oil and what kind before charging the system. Thanks

Most likely you will need to add about 6oz of oil. 3 in the compressor and 3 in the receiver /drier. You should refer to vintage air for the type. As there are diffence types.
