1999 Suburban 2wd 5.3 with 6L80E Swap Hello Everyone,
I'm Lawrence and I'm new to the forum. It is a lot of good information I see. Well I have a 99 Suburban 2wd with 95,000 miles and I'm the second owner of this vehicle. Very clean vehicle with the exception of driver seat has a leather separation. I plan to keep to keep this truck for a while as I refuse to pay $75,000 for a new Suburban. I'm planning to swap out the 350 with the older version 4L60E for a 2012 5.3 engine with a 6L80E that came out of an Tahoe with 25,000 miles. I plan to do this swap myself. Any advice for this swap? Especially using the 6L80E trans??
