Default 65 Impala t56 swap
Looking for some info on putting a t56 in a 65 Impala. Does the transmission tunnel have to be enlarged? If so how much and what have others here done? Just trying to help a good buddy out. Thanks

Just guessing the impala tunnel is similar to my chevelle. They all had much smaller transmissions back then so the tunnels are small. I had to open my tunnel up about 3 inches to fit the T56 in my 64 chevelle.
