Default V6 automatic/dbw pedal assy

I have a 2000 Camaro v6 automatic. I am putting a 2005 ls2 from a GTO with a t56 in the car. My question is that I have a factory dbw pedal in the car I know I need to replace it with a v8 drive by wire pedal. I also need to install a clutch pedal. However, if I buy an F body pedal assembly they are drive by cable and one piece. Is there a car that I should steal all the pedals out of or how would you go about accomplishing this.

To besafe and know it will work, I would get one from a 2005 GTO and make it fit your car.

Ok i have access to a 2005 dbw gas pedal assy from gto. Should I get a v8 fbody pedal assembly and cut off the gas pedal and install that as well for my clutch and brake since I am converting from auto to t56. Thanks again

Yes that would be a great way to do it.

Ok great thanks. I have been searching for a while and it seems everyone doing a v6 to v8 always converts to dbc so thanks for the reassurance I was on the right track. I have another question if u don't mind. As far as installing the corvette filter/reg I see some people put it under hood because the return is run up there. How would I go about putting it in factory location and removing the extra lines? Do I have to cut and swedge the line with adapter?or lower tank and put an entirely new line from filter to pump?
