Question Hooker mid length headers for a 1st gen Camaro ?

Any one using the hooker mid length headers on the LS swap & wich size?
How do you like or not like them?
Should you have gone full length?
Any Dyno numbers with them?

I know there's a few guys over on the pro-touring.com site who have and they've put up a thread about them. Search for part numbers 2473HKR and 2474HKR over there and you should find what you're looking for.

Yes, there would be higher gains to be had by using the long tubes, but the exact amount would vary between specific engines. It would be rather small on a stock 5.3L LS for example, be could be as high as 20 or 25 on the same engine with a heads and cam swap.

i have the mids on my car . its not running yet. they fit perfect. i would have gone with the long tubes if they would have worked with the tru turn out of the box. i dont what to cut a set of new headers up. that and the ground clearance was something that i didnt want to worry about. but i may go long tubes down the line.

Hey Rallystyle, I made a revision change to the long-tube masters and fixtures a couple of months ago to remedy that issue of non-compatibility, so all current production long-tubes are bolt-in compatible with the Tru-Turn system.
