Default Do I have everything I need from this junkyard pull?

I've got a 5.3 LH6 from a 2006 Rainier that was running but making noise from the junkyard. I bought this to put in my 71 Cutlass convertible resto. It looks like the problem is a bad DOD lifter so I got an incredible deal. Below is a list of what I picked up. My question, is there anything else I should get before they crush the thing?

Complete engine with 243 heads to pan
TB, MAF, intake, fuel rails, coil packs, injectors, plugs and wires
exhaust manifolds
2 O2 sensors
All engine sensors
starter, PS pump, AC compressor with pipes, water pump, pulleys, etc.
No alternator, but I already have one.
Gas pedal
ECM, TCM, Liftgate module, rear fuse block with BCM
Engine wiring harness, we cut it of at the firewall and the line running to the back of the vehicle. Have fuse block and everything under the hood with the exception of the front lighting wiring.

Default Junkyard pull

Get the donor vehicle VIN. The alternator you have is for a 2006 5.3? May be a problem if it's not the correct one but you can solve that later on.

I don't recall what vehicle the alternator was off of, but I think it was older. Can I get any information from and numbers on it?

What will the VIN do for me?

Makes it a lot easier to order parts at a dealership. Around here, the countermen won't even talk to you if you can't supply a VIN...
