Default First Gen Power Steering Hose w/ IROC box

The power steering pressure hose I got with my donor engine (2000 F body) is very close to working as is with my IROC box. I would need to straighten out the box end of it. I'm not confident I can do that without kinking the tubing, though.

Does anyone know of a stock hose that fits better? I read somewhere that C5 'vette hoses work, but I looked them up on Rockauto and they look too small, and have some weird barrel fitting on the rack end.

If there isn't a better off the shelf option, how does one go about straightening metal hydraulic tubing without kinking it?

Thanks!

Did similar with my 76 Trans Am LS1/T56 swap.

IROC steering box.
Used stock LS1 power steering lines. Hand bent them to fit. No issues so far.

Depending on how far back the engine sits, it may or may not work. I usually cut the hardline where it meets the rubber hose, and have a shop make me the line with correct fitting so I can route it the way I want. I can get you a part # for the return hose I use, if needed. It will fit right into the box w 90 deg bend, then you just cut the rubber hose to the desired length.

Yes, please post the return hose number.

So you have a hydraulic shop replace the hard line with a straight piece with the O-ring fitting on the end, and bend it yourself to route it?
