Mission Impossible? LSA/ 6L90 into a 4th gen
Hi Guys!
I'm about to pull the trigger on a deal for a ZL1 takeout LSA / 6L90E
My car is an 2000 Camaro Z28 and i want to keep my wipers because i take long trips with this car. Nobody knows when you will need them.
I know that the GMPP has succeeded in swapping an LS9 into a 4th gen but as far as i see the LSA blower stands taller than the LS9 one.
What do you think? Can it be a great project or a heartache?..
I have searched all around the net for a small clue but there's none.
Any opinions are more than appreciated.
Regards
Mert

No worries for the diff. I've already have a built 12 bolt waiting to be bolted on. My only worry is the underhood spacing. Eventhough i will have a sunoco hood, i know that the main problem is where the wipers located at...
Maybe i should leave this combo alone and go for a built LS7 instead like the one You have. But what i have in mind for my 74 Firebird is a darton mid sleeved 427 LS1 so similar engines in both car is not desirable for me. I want both of them to be different as night & day. The 427 will be on subject about late 2016 hopefully.

I think You will love either of my build threads. It's gonna be either an LSA or an LT4 build thread.
Scott, I'd be more than appreciated if You remember that white camaro and share info with me.

LS3/ magnusson is not somehow appealing to me. I have a budget of 23k$ including tranny, Z06 brakes, fuel, etc. Maggie/LS3 and other needful things will need much more than that...
