Complete LS2 swap into 99 SS I'm looking into doing a complete ls2 swap into my A4 99 camaro SS, I would like to know what would be the least complicated way to do it? Should I keep my A4 or swap out the tranny too? What Year LS2 will be the easiest to do? If I find one with a 6 speed can I swap it into my car ?

You need to make sure whatever LS2 you use, it is a 24x crank sensor, otherwise, you will have to get the box, and it will be more of a pain. I don't think it is a specific year, as it is more of a specific car. I "THINK" the GTO's had the 24x, and the Corvettes had the 58x, but I could be wrong, and that could be backwards.
Trans is all up to you and your budget. A stock A4, will break sooner than later if you drive it hard.

Knock sensors are no longer located at the valley cover for a Ls2 and also cam sensor is mounted on the timing chain cover. You pretty much just need relocation harness.
