I have a 1975 c10 shortbed that I'm putting a 2001 gmc truck motor in so far I have done most of the work I did the harness fuel and dropping it in, it has 50-55 when primed has spark it starts on starter fluid but injectors won't pulse getting a noid tester but with a light tester no pulse I had a buddy of mine take the vats and emissions off but not to sure if he did it right he knows his stuff but you never know also he disabled the trans so I can run an old 350 trans any info would be great thanks

Injectors could be stuck if the engine has sat around for a while. Take them out and clean them or soak them in some Seafoam to get them unstuck. If you don't get any light from the noid light, then check your grounds real good.

I had left the over night in seafoam getting the noid light today in a few hours after class and I'll double check it again thanks for reply do you think vats would have anything to do wit it?

Alright just checked injectors with noid light no pulsing I checked grounds they are good I put all in one and bolted it to the passenger head any other ideas would be appreciated

Im assuming you put the rear grounds that went to each head together, but there's one up front , kind of behind the power steering pump, have you checked to make sure you didn't miss that one? Its easy to miss and I've seen people miss it before.

When I did the wiring I believe I moved that one with the others but good point I'll check it out

Grounds are all connected by any chance I have a batter starter/charger connected because battery is low an possibly bad would that effect it from starting it ran with starter fluid and the charger but maybe that can be messing with it?

Low voltage can do some weird things. Have you checked to make sure you have power at the injectors?

Are all the injectors not pulsing with the noid light? Is the PCM the one that came with the engine? Was it running on that PCM before the swap?

Alright sorry for very late response have been busy with work and school anyways yesterday I decided to take harness off when off I realized the crank sensor connector had one cable off an also a ground was hidden in the tape had put, it just started but dies in a few seconds thanks for the help I'm very excited to hear it run and it is the point that came with the motor and the truck did run before the swap
