Default Cammed L33 5.3 swap in a Sonoma

Hi All,

Been a member for a while, just haven't posted.

My build is a 2003 Sonoma RCLB that had a 4.3/4L60E.

I bought the truck in February of 2014, had the stock motor out in May of 2014 and had the 5.3 with full size 4L60E in the truck and running by February of 2015.

Specs:

L33 5.3 78k miles, 2007 (last Gen 3 model year)
224/224 112 LSA .585"/.585" TSP Cam
Yank SS 3600
Built 4L60E out of an '03 full size
BRP Hotrods mounts trans mount and long tube headers
LS2 truck injectors
Racetronix 255 with a hot wire kit
CPW harness
Holley high mount AC accessory brackets
Holley muscle car oil pan
QA1 coilovers with SPC upper arms and Spohn lowers
Viking double adjustable in the back
Caltracs, dearched stock leafs
Billet Street lites (17x11 and 17x8)
MT ET Street 315/45/17, Nittos NT555 245's up front
3.73 7.5" with an aluminum trick flow girdle and camaro posi
Big wilwoods and drag spindles up front
Home made true dual exhaust

First couple passes at the track I ran low 14's. Looked at data log and saw my timing was going to almost nothing under load. Fixed my IAT timing tables.

The truck consistently runs mid 12's at around 110mph now.

Getting bored....forced induction to come.

My first pass after fixing the tune. Got faster after every pass. (kept adding timing)

Second Pass

Third pass was a 12.55 but the video was super short.

I have a 1992 pickup with a 5.3 and i have had a 1000lbs of concrete in the back.i have also towed my 5x8 trailer packed with wood. Truck can still be fast and haul stuff. I like your long bed you can fit more stuff in there. My truck is fun and work. Best of both worlds.

Truck is apart and i am changing out the accessories to support front mount turbo. Have almost everything I need. Once I get a post count I will post pictures of my build and give more detail on the turbo.
