Hey everyone, I have a strange problem. I have the Holley 302-2 oil pan and I bought the AC delco oil filter today for an 02 Escalade which is what my engine is. The problem is that the oil filter barely threads on then gets really tight. I know better than to force it on there so Im thinking I may have the incorrect filter. Thoughts? Whats the correct filter?

The truck filter fitting is 13/16". AFAIK, all others used a 22mm thread.

My H2 hummer pan takes a pf48 filter but the original truck pan took a pf46, the 48 has a gigger threaded hole. Not sure thats the one you need though.

According to holley it takes a pf48.
