Default Complete car accessory drive on truck engine

Is there anything inhibiting the use of the car accessory drive on a truck engine?

I have a harmonic balancer, intake manifold, and TB from a LS3 that I plan on putting on a truck (LY6) engine. If I'm going to have to spend the money to get the car water pump and relocate the alternator, what's the reason to not just switch to the entire accessory drive?

The parts I still need are probably going to be around $5-600, which shouldn't be too far off from a used accessory drive.

On the earlier iron block truck motors you would have to drill/tap one of the low alternator mount bracket holes. Otherwise, it should be a bolt on swap over.

If I were you I'd pick up some aftermarket brackets such as the lsxconcepts or holley ones. You could get them for much less than the 5-600 you're planning on.

What LS3 are your parts from? Because gen5 Camaro LS3s use the truck belt spacing, and Vetts are closer to the block.
