Today I was talking to a local guy that does quite a bit of ls stuff including tuning. He was telling me that lots of people have issues with the gto alternator on stand alone swaps. Anyone here have any gto alternator issues? I bought a BP Automotive harness that was made for my e40 gto ls2 and up until today I've never heard of any issues. He mentioned something about the gto alternator having to go through a bcm because of the canbus stuff. Just trying to educate myself as I'm starting my swap very soon. Thanks
