Hello, I have a question about the new gen V lt's. They appear to run the smooth side of the serpentine belt against the ribbed side of the water pump pulley. It looks like the pulley ribs would eat into the flat side of the belt. Am I missing something? Do any of the gen. V's water pumps have a smooth pulley? I am interested in the holley 20-180 acc. mount system but would rather use a genuine GM pump and pulley instead of a Chinese knock off. Thank You, crowfly

What's your question? Yes, the smooth side runs agains a ribbed pulley. Clearly, this is not an issue. Do you need a power steering pump?
